BUENOS AIRES -- One person was killed and about 20 others suffered bullet wounds during clashes between supporters of Argentina's rival Racing and Independiente football teams, officials said early Monday. Authorities revised downward the death toll from Sunday's clashes, reporting that a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death, after having earlier reported two deaths. Several other victims were treated for knife wounds and other injuries, officials at the Fiorito hospital near Buenos Aires said. Among those treated at the hospital was a 12-year-old boy who suffered a bullet wound in the thorax and had to undergo emergency surgery, AFP reported.
